Can CareStrand connect to our production systems now?
No. The current product is a synthetic demonstrator and scaffold. Production connections require supported interfaces, an organisation-controlled gateway, contracts, security, information governance, clinical safety and a bounded implementation plan.
Can we test it using fictional or approved test data?
Yes. That is the appropriate next step. A demonstration can be shaped around a workflow using synthetic or approved non-production data to validate the user journey, integration pattern and evaluation plan.
Can an application provider integrate with CareStrand?
The proposed model is one governed application connection with an App Passport, explicit permission tier, context package and human-approval boundary. The current gateway and connector SDK remain prototype scaffolds.
Is CareStrand limited to one country or healthcare system?
No. CareStrand has a jurisdiction-neutral core with configurable identity, terminology, privacy, organisation and pathway packs. A first pilot can be local without making the platform structurally local.
CareStrand is currently a synthetic prototype for demonstration and product development. It is not connected to production clinical systems and must not be used with identifiable patient information or for clinical decision-making.
